Herb-Crusted Rack of Lamb

Juicy, tender, bursting with flavor

This is considered one of Gordon Ramsay’s specialties: a wonderful rack of lamb, yet again, with flavors that come out as soon as you bite into it. The combination of fresh herbs and breadcrumbs together has nice contrasting textures that play out well in relation to the succulent lamb, roasted to medium-rare.

Ingredients:

  • 1 rack of lamb (about 8 chops)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

How to Cook:

  • Season the rack of lamb with salt and pepper, then fry in a hot pan with olive oil.
  • Apply Dijon mustard, followed by breadcrumbs mixed with garlic, parsley, and thyme.
  • Roast in a 400°F oven for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is gold brown and the lamb cooked according to your taste.
  • Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • A match made in heaven – the succulent and tender lamb combines with the crispy, herb-filled crumbly crust to make a quite spectacular special occasion or gourmet dinner party dish.
