BIO: Celebrity Chef Marc Anthony Bynum was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He developed a passion for cooking at an early, citing “the joy on people’s faces while eating” as the reason he wanted to become a chef. Chef Marc has received no formal culinary training, instead utilizing hard work and dedication to perfect his palate and craft. During his career he has worked at places throughout New York including the Marriot, Beth Page State Park, Four Food Studio, Bella Vila City Grill, Rookies Sports Club, Prime American Kitchen and Venue 56.
Chef Marc’s rise to celebrity came with his appearances on Food Network’s hit TV show, Chopped. He was declared the “Chopped Champion” twice, and reached the season finale of the Chopped Champions edition of the show. Through the notoriety of the show and his restaurant success, Bynum has been able to start his own company, MBynum Creations.
Through Marc Anthony Bynum Creations, Chef Marc has begun to establish his own brand in the culinary world. He offers up advice, recipes and testimonials through his website, in addition to the sale of his personal spice blends, branded t-shirts, and private chef appearances.
