Matt Groark

A Health and Physical Education Teacher by day, Matt Groark is also the owner of a small business – Groark Boys BBQ, which he officially kicked off with a fundraiser at his HS in September 2018. Over the past 20 months he’s cooked up pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese and more, giving back over $30,000 to a host of charities and community organizations. Along the road he has fed the likes of Phil Rosenthal, star of the Netflix hit show “Somebody Feed Phil” and even found himself cooking alongside Philadelphia Eagles Chef Tim Lopez!

Sonny Hurrell

The celebrity chef’s cooking journey began in Sonoma County, California at 16 years old. He worked his way through many kitchens focusing on very local and seasonal styles of cooking.

At 21 years old, Sonny decided to leave the world of cooking for a two-year intensive study of organic agriculture, studying at Emerson College in the UK. There, he also worked on many farms across Europe because it was important for him to see and understand where our food was coming from. Upon completing his studies, he returned to the busy pace of restaurant life working in the Netherlands at several fine dining restaurants.

Sonny returned to the US in 2014 for a saucier position at the Viceroy Hotel in Snowmass Village. Since then, Sonny has thrived full-time in private cooking and catering in Aspen.

Bringing his delicious recipes to social media, this TikTok Chef shares his Dinner Party Master tips and tricks to over 76% women in just two months. Beginning by serving his friends, Josh discovered his gift for cooking while attending University of Maryland. Subsequently, Josh used this as a launching pad to pursue his culinary studies through Europe and eventually return to Manhattan where he launched his career.

Mette Williams

Los Angeles-based celebrity chef for hire Mette Williams has burst onto the California culinary scene in recent years. Many may recognize her best from her big win on Anne Burrell‘s Food Network competition series Chef Wanted in 2013. She competed against other contestants for the position of executive chef of Culina, a modern Italian eatery located in the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Since then, she has transformed the restaurant to make it her own. She focused on utilizing a variety of fresh produce sourced locally and adding some Mediterranean flair to the menu.

Mette relocated to LA after graduating from the California Culinary Academy in 2002. She became a trailblazer for women in the culinary industry when she was hired as one of the first female sous chefs at Wolfgang Puck‘s Spago in Beverly Hills. She spent 8 years working under Wolfgang, absorbing all the knowledge she could about food perfection and the restaurant business. Eventually she left Spago, but stayed under the Wolfgang Puck umbrella working at his popular restaurants Postrio in San Francisco and CUT in Beverly Hills.

Mette worked in the kitchen at Culina through 2015. She worked as an executive chef at several more restaurants including the Lab Gastropub and TOMGEORGE LA before taking a position as a sales executive for worldwide produce.
